Manage Pain & Improve Function
Physiotherapy
What makes us different from other physiotherapy clinics? We seek to better understand your story through effective listening and questioning skills. We prioritize exercise, movement education and load management. We have a fully equipped strength and conditioning gym where our physiotherapists work one on one with you to assess and develop your customized exercise program. We aim to provide the highest standard of patient centred care.
Our Physiotherapists
Our Physiotherapists are skilled practitioners who critically evaluate each treatment to ensure clinical effectiveness and readily adapt the plan to meet the patients’ needs. Guided by an evidence-based approach our clinicians will use manual therapy techniques, exercise, and emphasise the importance of appropriate advice and education to help you attain the lifestyle you seek.

“Terrific physiotherapy for athletes”

“Today I had an initial acupuncture appointment with Debra. She was great. Debra also did cupping on my back and this wasn’t cupping I’ve been accustomed to. Typically, I had it where the cup is placed on an area for a period of time then pulled off, however, Debra was moving the cup all over my back and then left a bunch on while she worked the other side. I haven’t felt this loose and good for a long time. I’ll be scheduling another acupuncture and cupping session in the future fur sure. If you have Instagram, check out their page and watch the video that says, “Spring Cleaning” on it. Their page is vernon_active_health . 🙂 Highly recommend and the staff are great!”
“This place is great! The staff is extremely friendly, and they all make you feel so welcome, and more importantly, they take such great care of you.”
“Riley and his team have changed my life for the better and I can’t thank them enough. Truly the best place in the Okanagan to receive physical therapy.”

Frequently Asked Physiotherapy Questions
The benefits of physiotherapy are to decrease pain, improve function and to help educate the patient by answering all questions they have regarding the injury – Diagnosis, severity of injury and recovery timeline
Initial assessments are 45 minutes in length. Subsequent visits are 30 minutes, and exercise rehabilitation sessions are up to an hour in length. Plan to be there for at least 15-20 minutes longer than your scheduled time. This includes showing up early to provide all information to reception – information surrounding the injury, claim numbers (ICBC and Work safe BC), and private benefit numbers.
Depends on the severity of the injury, the diagnose. The physiotherapist will educate the patient on timeline and expectations.
Yes, physiotherapy is generally covered under private insurance and for those who qualify for MSP are covered for a partial amount.
