What to expect at a Massage therapy Session

Personalized Assessment

Your registered massage therapist will discuss your medical history and any specific concerns you have, followed by an assessment of your posture, range of motion, and areas of tension or discomfort.

Treatment

Using various massage techniques, your therapist will apply pressure and manipulate your muscles, soft tissues, and joints to help alleviate tension, reduce pain, and promote relaxation. They may use oils or lotions to facilitate smooth movement.

Post-Treatment Guidance

After the massage, your therapist may provide self-care advice and recommend follow-up sessions to maintain benefits. Stretching exercises and relaxation techniques may be suggested.

Tracey Best

“Today I had an initial acupuncture appointment with Debra. She was great. Debra also did cupping on my back and this wasn’t cupping I’ve been accustomed to. Typically, I had it where the cup is placed on an area for a period of time then pulled off, however, Debra was moving the cup all over my back and then left a bunch on while she worked the other side. I haven’t felt this loose and good for a long time. I’ll be scheduling another acupuncture and cupping session in the future fur sure. If you have Instagram, check out their page and watch the video that says, “Spring Cleaning” on it. Their page is vernon_active_health . 🙂 Highly recommend and the staff are great!”
