about Paige
Originally from Kamloops, Paige grew up with a passion for sports and movement that has followed her throughout life. From playing competitive soccer through high school to hiking and running throughout the Okanagan she often finds herself outside. Paige has just recently finished her Bachelor of Health and Exercise Sciences at the University of British Columbia with a concentration in clinical exercise physiology, focusing on managing chronic disease with exercise.
During her degree Paige worked with a variety of clients, from people struggling with everyday aches and pains to working in a cardiac and pulmonary rehab centre, to working with kids getting into sports. But if you are ever to ask her, she would say her favourite part is hearing peopleβs stories and watching their confidence grow, getting to do things they never thought they could.
While having experienced many injuries and multiple concussions helped her gain a new perspective on being unable to participate in her everyday activities. She was drawn to the field when it was her little brother who went through physical therapy after being diagnosed with a rare genetic condition. From struggling to keep up with his siblings or play in more than one spot on the floor, to now climbing playgrounds and chasing geese in a park- Paige watched how much more his life opened up and how many more opportunities he was afforded in life because he could interact with it.

“First time back in awhile. Love the new location, warm, friendly environment and as always an awesome experience!”
I am always impressed by both the professional and support staff at Vernon. Active Health. They are really a team who work at providing a good experience from making an appointment to getting services. I have gone to Cory for years for chiropractic work. I have just started doing the facial cupping with Debbie Jonasson and have had very good results with acupuncture and in particular Deb’s scar work with acupuncture. Thanks to Cory and his staff for a total package care centre.
This place is great! Staff is extremely friendly and they all make you feel so welcome, and more importantly they take such great care of you.
“Riley was great. Super friendly and knowledgeable!

“Today I had an initial acupuncture appointment with Debra. She was great. Debra also did cupping on my back and this wasn’t cupping I’ve been accustomed to. Typically, I had it where the cup is placed on an area for a period of time then pulled off, however, Debra was moving the cup all over my back and then left a bunch on while she worked the other side. I haven’t felt this loose and good for a long time. I’ll be scheduling another acupuncture and cupping session in the future fur sure. If you have Instagram, check out their page and watch the video that says, “Spring Cleaning” on it. Their page is vernon_active_health . π Highly recommend and the staff are great!
